Background: Hypertension or elevated blood pressure is a serious medical condition that significantly increases the risks of heart, brain, kidney and other diseases. An estimated 1.28 billion adults aged 30-79 years worldwide have hypertension, most (two-thirds) living in low- and middle-income countries. An estimated 46% of adults with hypertension are unaware that they have the condition. Hypertension is commonly affects all the parts of the world. Objectives: To assess the knowledge on Hypertension among hypertensive patients in selected settings Mysuru and to determine the association between the level of the knowledge on hypertension with their selected personnel variable. Methodology: Research approach: Descriptive research approach was used for this study. Research Design: The descriptive research design selected for this study. Setting: Setting refers to the realm wherever the study is conducted. This study was conducted on Mosanabayanahalli rural areas of Varuna PHC, Mysuru. Population: The target population for the study was Hypertensive patients of Mosanabayanahalli village, rural areas of Varuna PHC, Mysuru. Sample: hypertension patients of Mosanabayanahalli village, rural areas of Varuna PHC, Mysuru. Participants: 30 Hypertensive patients Sampling Techniques: Purposive sampling technique was used to select the sample. RESULT: The Majority of The hypertensive patients Having Moderate Knowledge On hypertension Follows Few hypertension patients Have Adequate Knowledge. The Overall Mean Knowledge Scores of the hypertension patients is 24.17With SD 4, 08, and out of Many Variable Age gender occupation, Was Found to Be Significant with the Knowledge of 0.05 Level.

Picralima nitida is widely used in West African traditional medicine for treating various blood related disorders including anaemia and diabetes. Despite substantial scientific evidence validating the ethno-medical use of different parts of this plant. This study was designed to investigate the haematinic values, and the safety profile of ethanol extracts of leaf, seed and bark of P. nitida in PHZ induced anaemic Wistar rats, by evaluating the effects on the leucocytic indices (total white blood cell (WBC) count, differential leucocyte count (lymphocyte, monocyte and granulocyte) A total of one hundred and ninety apparently healthy Wistar rats, weighing between 150-180 grams were used. The animals were randomly divided into 9 experimental groups: A-I, representing normal, negative and positive controls, as well as 200 and 400 mg/kg doses of leaf, seed and stem bark extracts of P. nitida respectively. Blood samples were evaluated at days 7, 14, and 21 following the oral administration of the different treatments post induction.

The different extracts showed varied abilities in restoring the abnormal increases in WBC and demonstrated significant recovery from PHZ induced reductions in RBC, and PCV. All the extracts significantly ameliorated the negative impacts of PHZ on the leucocytic indices of the Wistar rats, albeit not at the same strength.

This paper explores the application strategy of the Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) model in community elderly care in China. With the intensification of aging in China, community elderly care faces numerous challenges, and the CCRC model, with its comprehensive elderly care service system, has become an essential solution to these problems. The article first analyzes the development of the CCRC model domestically and internationally and the current state of community elderly care in China, emphasizing the necessity of integrating community elderly care with the CCRC model. Five key measures are proposed for application strategies: community environment transformation and age-friendly design, constructing an integrated medical and elderly care service system, providing multi-level elderly care services, implementing intelligent management systems, and promoting community participation and intergenerational interaction. Although the CCRC model has broad application prospects in community elderly care, its implementation still faces challenges such as policy support and legal guarantees, funding and operation management, talent cultivation and team building, and service quality control and evaluation systems, with corresponding countermeasures proposed.

Background and Aim-

Aegle marmelos L. is a medicinal plant used in traditional formulations for the treatment of various disease conditions. The physicochemical properties fluctuate with the season and in response to stress. To obtain the highest medicinal value it is necessary to collect the plant raw material in the correct season. The present study was aim to evaluate the physiochemical fluctuations in the leaves of Aegle marmelos and the aegelin, an antidiabetic constituent in these leaves.

Experimental procedure

Leaves were collected in summer, winter, and rainy seasons and subjected to authentication and standardization. The leaves were evaluated for the macroscopic and microscopic evaluation, quantitative microscopy, proximate analysis, extractive values in petroleum ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate, ethanol, water, and determination of the concentration of antidiabetic component aegelin.

Results and Conclusion

The leaves showed morphological and microscopical variations in different seasons. The phytochemical composition was the same in all seasons however the levels of extractive values fluctuated in response to seasonal variations. Maximum levels of ethanol and water extract were obtained in the winter season also the aegelin concentration was higher in this season. The suitable raw material collection season can be decided based on the present study according to the purpose of utilization of plant material.

BACKGROUND

Contraception has been considered an essential component of any country's reproductive health. This is because it not only assists couples and individuals in determining the number of children they want to have, but it also assists them in spacing their children. Despite these benefits, contraceptive use is low in Nigeria.

OBJECTIVES: To assess attitudes towards contraceptives among women in Nigeria and practices of contraception among women in Nigeria.

MATERIAL AND METHODS: This is a description cross sectional online study conducted with 144 respondents using convenience sampling technique. Date was collected via Qualtrics and analyse via SPSS.

RESULTS: The statistical analysis reveal that most of the participant have positive attitude towards contraception a mean attitude score of (x) of 88.37. The most used contraception among Nigerian women is condom 69.4%.

Conclusion: Nigerian women exhibit a positive attitude towards contraception. However, despite the positive attitude, the usage is low. It is crucial for the government and relevant agencies to prioritise public health measures by addressing the underlying factors and removing obstacles to access. This includes ensuring the convenient availability of contraception and incorporating health insurance into comprehensive healthcare packages.
